Our Clothing Assistance Program aims to support immigrants and vulnerable individuals in New Brunswick by providing them with access to clean, warm, and suitable clothing. We achieve this by collecting gently used clothing donations from the community, which we then distribute through a network of partner organizations, shelters, and community centers. This initiative is crucial for individuals experiencing poverty, as it helps them stay warm, maintain personal hygiene, and uphold their dignity.
To facilitate our mission, we organize regular clothing drives that encourage community members to donate their gently used items. These drives are promoted through various platforms, including social media, local newspapers, and community bulletin boards. Our dedicated volunteers sort and categorize the donations by size and gender, ensuring efficient distribution. We also host clothing distribution events at accessible locations, allowing individuals in need to select clothing items that suit their preferences and cultural considerations in a welcoming environment.
